Hi, I'm Sophie and going on an Exchange to Barcelona next year. I really want to learn how to speak/ write Spanish. My listening and reading skills are around level B1 and B2, but speaking and writing is a lot harder for me. I'm a bachelor student and very passionate about modern art history. I love photography, hiking in the mountains, snorkling, guitar and piano, croquet and travelling. I'm a very open and enthousiastic person. I'm of Chinese ethnicity but I don't speak the language. My first language is Dutch and other than that I'm more or less fluent in English I'd say, and I know bits of some other languages. Some hobbies I enjoy are sports, playing and listening to music, watching K-dramas and anime, dabble in technology. I am interested in learning Japanese, Korean and Chinese(Mandarin) and their cultures, but on a more casual level so not for the very serious students here. I will try help with what I can though. I am a very active Dutch pensionado of 74 years old and married to my wife Joke for 53 years and living in The Hague - The Netherlands.
